Happy December! Its offish the Holiday season and that means time to decorate! I love decorating for Christmas and obvi, you know I'm doing it on a Budget. Check out some tips and tricks below to turn your home into a winter wonderland!
First up, my tree!! Its not Christmas until my girl is back up and shes a beut! Anyone who knows me, knows I'm obsessed with my white tree! I got it on a great sale a few years back at Target the day after Christmas, no box, floor model, but it was 90 % off! So I had to have her! A white tree like mine can run you up to 500 bucks, but I found a comparable one from Amazon for only 59 bucks. Talk about a white Christmas! Its about to get glam up in here!
Now, onto decorating the Tree. My friends make fun of me because I don't have any sentimental ornaments, but I just love the look of a unified, glamorous tree. This year I switched it up a bit by adding some gold along with my classic red and silver. I also switched up the ribbons by doing roughly foot long cuts, stuffed in randomly throughout the tree. I also got some different sized ornaments to give it some dimension along with these beautiful poinsettia clips (from Walmart!!) that I love! Between the white tree and the various ornaments and design, shes a show stopper! Shop my fav ornaments below
Other than my tree, my second favorite area to decorate at Christmas time is my mantel! Along with the tree, the mantel is the other focal point of the room. I like switching it up every year and I like having symmetry but also some dimension. This year I also incorporated the gold, silver and red into the Mantel. Check out what I used below to create the look.
Another area I love to decorate for Christmas is my dining table. Make it festive with some red plates, a sparkly table runner and a wintery centerpiece and you're ready for your Christmas dinner party!
Well what are you waiting for! Its time to get decorating! Happy December!
Thanks for reading
